- 200g or 20 pitted dried dates
- 200ml boiling hot water
- 100g plain flour
- 60g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 100ml unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
Method:
- Preheat your oven
- Soak the dates in the hot water for 15 minutes then blend into a paste
- Mix the paste with the remaining ingredients
- Pour the batter into a brownie baking dish
- Bake at 150°C for 25 minutes
