Low-calorie vegan brownies

 


Preparation and baking time: 

40 minutes

Ingredients: 
  • 200g or 20 pitted dried dates
  • 200ml boiling hot water
  • 100g plain flour
  • 60g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 100ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
Method:
  1. Preheat your oven
  2. Soak the dates in the hot water for 15 minutes then blend into a paste
  3. Mix the paste with the remaining ingredients
  4. Pour the batter into a brownie baking dish
  5. Bake at 150°C for 25 minutes

160 kcal

Protein: 4g - Carb: 33g - Fat: 1g

Serving tips:

Serve with your favourite fruit and sprinkle with cinnamon powder
